Hello and thank you for visiting the USC Gamma Phi Beta website. I welcome and encourage you to browse our site to get a glimpse into one of the most cherished organizations in my sisters’ lives and mine.

My name is Emily and I am honored to represent my sisters as President of the Beta Alpha chapter of Gamma Phi Beta.

Upon entering the sorority, new members are welcome with open arms and immediately accepted into a family of intelligent and auspicious women. We have sisters from not just all corners of the United States, but also from all over the world. Our diverse group of warm and loving young women make our place on "the row" a home away from home.

I have grown and learned more about myself as a leader and a scholar as a result of the women I surround myself with as a Gamma Phi Beta. It is reflected in the fact that in two of the past three years, Gamma Phi has won the President's Award for Overall Excellence, or "sorority of the year".

I have learned the importance of teamwork and have cheered on my sisters as they compete to win three years running the year-long Helen of Troy athletic tradition.

I have become conscious of those in need as our chapter takes on several philanthropic events a year raising upwards of $3,000 each event for various organizations, namely, Troy Camp, USC's main philanthropic endeavor.

I am motivated by sisters who hold leadership positions and are involved in several organizations on campus, earning Gamma Phi Beta the Campus Involvement Award among all Greek organizations.

I also realize the importance of the ties of sisterhood as young and old alumnae return together to share their memories with us and offer advice for the future. This was evident when we held our Alumnae Career Panel last spring.

For all of our bright and talented young women, Gamma Phi Beta is not just a place, it's a place in our hearts. I invite you join us in the celebration and tradition of the Gamma Phi Beta sisterhood.
